      Buying & Conditions

• This web site is an information source and contains lists of antique traders shops.
  

         All of the shops listed are included on the merits of the individual traders web sites, the appearance and

        content and the type of stock etc.

• All  transactions are between the visitor and the antiques trader. No responsibiltiy is taken for the subsequent actions of traders listed on this site.
  

• If the item is valuable ask for a condition report or alternatively ask if it has any repairs or damage.
  

• Feel confident in asking for additional photos of items.
  

• Ask for details of date, provenance etc.
  

• Check to see if the seller has a returns policy.
  

• Ask for a seperate receipt to be sent by post. Ask for dates etc to be included on the receipt. Do not                  enclose the receipt in the parcel.
  

• Check that the goods can be fully insured.
  

• Where possible check the sellers feedback for honesty, reliability and customer satisfaction
  

These checks are all standard and straightforward and a good antiques trader will not mind supplying any of this information because they value their reputation and will want you to return another day!
